The TTB (Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau), which is the federal agency that regulates breweries, has finally approved Shadow Puppet as a production brewery! This is a huge milestone and we are excited to continue with the state and local approvals so that we can start selling our awesome beer!

Katie Danielson, using her immeasurable artistic ability, puts down an awesome Shadow Puppet logo on the tasting room floor in chalk. Way to go Katie!

We conducted our first tasting panel with members of the local Mad Zymurgists and DOZE brewing clubs, as well as family and friends. Over 40 generous people contributed several hours of their time to taste 2 different styles of beer (a traditional Amber, and our take on a Hoppy Amber.) With 11 total experimental beers to taste, our tasting panel was quite busy with their tastings.
